Our Next Event: October 7th Bats in the Night
To care for injured and orphaned bats in Delaware and foster a deep connection, awareness, and commitment to conservation and stewardship of natural habitats for all.
At DBRC, we rehabilitate injured or orphaned bats in Delaware and return them to the wild. We also provide education and outreach to promote bat conservation and advocate for the preservation of their natural habitats.
Every year, we receive many calls from the public about bats in need. Our dedicated team cares for these bats until they are healthy enough to be released back into the wild. We also educate the public about the importance of bats and how to coexist with them.
Bats are vital to our environment. They help control insect populations by eating pests, which benefits agriculture and reduces the need for pesticides in Delaware.
We prioritize the care and well-being of injured and orphaned bats, treating each one with the utmost compassion and dedication.
We believe in the power of knowledge. By educating the public about the importance of bats and their role in the ecosystem, we foster a deeper understanding and respect for these remarkable creatures.
Our commitment to conservation drives everything we do. We advocate for the protection and stewardship of natural habitats to ensure a healthy environment for bats and other wildlife.
We strive to build strong connections within our community, encouraging active participation and collaboration in our efforts to protect and rehabilitate bats.
